HOW TO BE A MEMBER OF SADIA KUCHING?
You must be an Iban not below 18 years of age,
whether born in Sarawak or not, who are interested
to volunteer their skills and expertise to the cause
of SADIA Kuching are invited to become its members.
Iban refers to any native of
Sarawak belonging to a Sea-Dayak race of full or
part Iban parentage or any admixture of the races
define as natives of Sarawak as appeared in the
schedule to the interpretation Ordinance Cap 1
Volume 1 of the Laws of Sarawak who has been subject
to and identify with the Iban system of Personal
Laws.
Members can contribute by participating directly in
SADIA Kuching’s activities by sitting on the various
committees as well as by being facilitators at
conferences, speakers, writers and judges of writing
competitions.
Memberships are categorized into Life Membership and
Ordinary Membership. For Life Membership, the
membership fee is RM65.00 (paid once) while for
Ordinary Membership, the fee is RM17.00 (RM5
entrance fee + RM12 annual fee)
