Based on SADIA’s Constitution (Article III, 1984),
its aims and objectives are as follows:

To promote and maintain goodwill and harmony
with all races in Malaysia.

To foster and safeguard the social cultural and
economic welfare of the Sarawak Iban and to
promote and encourage recreational activities
and mutual aid.

To promote and assist in the educational
progress of the Iban in Sarawak.
-
To safeguard the interests and welfare of the
native peoples and inhabitants of Sarawak in
general.
-
To promote the league of friendship and racial
harmony of all races and to inspire all persons
to live in the true spirit of tolerance,
co-operation, self-reliance and honest endeavour.

To promote development consciousness among the
Iban of Sarawak.
-
To uphold and defend the spirit and intentment
of Rukun Negara.
-
To sell, let, dispose or grant right over all or
any property of the association.
-
To erect building, plants and machinery for
purposes of the association.
-
To invest money of the association in such
manner as the national Executive Committee
thinks fit and permitted by law.
-
To enter into arrangements for joint working in
business or for sharing profits or for
amalgamation with any other organisation or
company, corporation, firm or person.
-
To support and subscribe to any charitable
institution society or club which may be for the
benefit of the association.
